Monin is the founder & owner of Grapevine Placement Agency & Travel’n Tots Baby Equipment Rentals. Having been a professional nanny herself, she personally encountered the dismal lack of screening performed by other nanny agencies and she knew something had to be done.

In 2001, Monin’s vision to create an agency that families could trust with their most valuable asset…their children, became a reality. While creating her vision, Monin graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her schooling afforded her the opportunity to utilize her education in administrating a highly professional and successful business.

As Grapevine continues to grow, she strives to maintain the same small business persona which allows our clients access to personnel on a 24-hour basis. Monin never wants to lose the hands-on approach and intimate relationships that she created with her clients – this overall is what has allowed her company to excel into what it is today. Her personal goal is to ensure that clients are educated, comfortable and content throughout the entire process. She and her team walk clients through the process, answering any questions and offering professional insight and encouragement.

Sophia is our talented Director of Recruitment & Placement Specialist. She is also a wife and mama to two handsome little boys. Her degrees in Social/Behavioral Sciences & Mathematics paired with 13+ years of professional nanny experience makes this lady unstoppable!

Sophia joined Grapevine Placement Agency in 2019 as an on-call nanny, where she enjoyed engaging with children of all ages. In 2021, Sophia was invited to join the Grapevine office as a Placement Specialist. Her many years of working in private households combined with her communication studies equipped her to effectively communicate with both parents and team members.

In 2022 Sophia was promoted to Director of Recruiting where she coaches, empowers, and advocates for all our amazing team members. What Sophia feels is most rewarding about her career is being involved in and witnessing the reward of pairing clients with their perfect match for all types of in-home domestic staffing.

When she’s not on the clock, you can find her spending time with her big family, cooking, playing with her children, or outside enjoying the sunshine.
